Royal Garden Hotel
Opened in 1981 and today still one of the finest luxury five star hotels in Hong Kong, The Royal Garden Hotel is located in the shopping and business district of Tsimshatsui East. It has 419 contemporary guest rooms, including 48 spacious and luxurious suites, opening onto terraced balconies overlooking the atrium. To provide a comfortable home away from home, guest rooms feature custom-designed Sealy mattresses, with 17 pounds of cotton covering 775 wrapped coils. The bedding features a three-layered “pillow mattress” which absorbs the weight of a body while giving contoured support, luxurious “Frette” bed sheets of the finest Egyptian cotton and 100 percent down duvets. Inagiku Japanese Restaurant offers kaiseki menus in addition to signature tempura, teppanyaki, sushi and sashimi.
The Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant is modeled on a Chinese official’s formal water garden of yesteryear. This gourmet restaurant has won many awards and distinctions. Here, lunch time dim-sum and “home” cooked, seasonal Cantonese cuisine and daily fresh seafood are served.
The newly opened Hong Kong branch of the popular, award-winning San Francisco restaurant, Le Soleil overlooks the atrium’s greenery and water features and serves fine Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant is personally overseen by Chef Dennis Wong of the original Le Soleil restaurant
The Greenery offers an “international” menu for all-day, casual dining in a garden-like setting, surrounded by the atrium’s lush foliage and water features, accompanied by melodies of a live pianist in the evenings. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets with jet-fresh seafood and regional specialties.
At the Sabatini Ristorante Italiano traditional “Roman cuisine” menu is overseen by the Sabatini brothers and is served in a picturesque “countryside” setting. Here, seasonal specialties and is complimented by an extensive wine list.
To complete the list – Dong Lai Shun serves authentic Beijing and Huaiyang cuisine; Martini Bar is the hotel’s cozy yet highly contemporary lounge bar. while the Lobby Delicatessen offers a tempting selection of takeaway sandwiches, salads, cold cuts, pastries, cookies, cakes and food hampers
