The YMCA – The Salisbury – is located in the prime business, shopping and entertainment district of Tsimshatsui, close to the Cultural Centre, Space Museum, the Museum of Art, the Waterfront Promenade and the Avenue of Stars, as well as the Star Ferry, Ocean Centre, Ocean Terminal Mall and Harbour City Mall. It is easily accessible by the MTR.
It offers 301 spacious rooms and 62 suites. Guests in the harbour view rooms can enjoy the nightly spectacle of “A Symphony of Lights” which combines interactive lights of 33 key buildings on both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, with musical effects. This spectacle has been awarded the world’s “Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show” by Guinness World Records.
All the restaurants are non-smoking. Guests in The Salisbury Dining Room can enjoy spectacular views of the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island while savoring breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. A roast beef wagon is also offered at lunch time and a tea buffet on weekends and public holidays. The Mall cafe is a self-service American style cafe serving a selection of oriental and western dishes. Banqueting and conferencing facilities are also available.
There are ample sports and recreational facilities at the YMCA including: an indoor temperature controlled 6-lane swimming pool, leisure pool and children’s pool; jacuzzi and sauna, a well-equipped Fitness Centre, squash courts, indoor climbing walls, a dance studio and a multi-ppurpose sports hall.
